It's hard to believe our little pirate/spidey/master chief is 5 years old! He had his birthday on Friday, but we had his party yesterday. It was a lot of fun. We had a carnival in our backyard. We had face painting, silly pictures, lots of games, a bounce house and even a fortune teller. It was so much fun transforming our backyard into a kids' carnival. We had 24 kids come! It was a huge party and the kids seemed to have a great time. I sure was grateful for all the help we got from my sweet family. Thanks guys! Here's some pictures.

Ty chose to go to "The Pirate Restaurant" (a.k.a. Joe's Crab Shack) for his birthday dinner on Friday.

Ashley, Ty, Krisstina, and Sarah at Joe's Crab Shack.

Our backyard carnival.

In the gazebo we had Segunda--the mystic mind reader and fortune teller, played by my sister Kim's mother-in-law, Cathy. She did a great job reading the kids' minds and telling their fortunes!

Aunt Kim and Ty. Kim did a fishing game that the kids loved. We also had a pool toss, knock 'em down, and pin the tail on the donkey.

We took silly pictures and Ty's turned out great. Ty is ever the pirate!

I love Ty's face in this picture of him with his pirate cake. He sure had a great time with all his friends.

Happy Birthday Ty! Whoa, what a cool party. I wish I could have been there! Your backyard looks amazing. How fun!
I love the picture of Ty and his cake, too. He is the happiest dispositioned little boy I know. Good hearted little pirate. You did a wonderful job on his birthday party. Wow! Wish we could have been there, too.
Whoa! What a party! You put me to shame. And man, Ty is a cutie. I can't believe how big the kids are. Ashley is just beautiful!
Happy birthday, TY!
Oh my goodness, what cute pictures! The kids are getting soo big, Sarah and Ashley are so pretty. Ty is the little man! What an amazing party too, I wish I could have come. Ask the fortune teller if I'll make any money this year, for me. (=
