I recently realized that many of you probably don't know who Krisstina is. Since she has become part of our family, I figured I better fill you all in.
Krisstina works at Realty Executives (our brokerage) as the receptionist. That is how Brent came to know her. Last December she was in need of a place to stay, so we offered to let her come live with us. We both felt that this was where Heavenly Father wanted her to be, which was a pretty sobering thought for both of us, but we hoped we could be a blessing to her. She later told us that she felt like Heavenly Father had led her here too, which was a pretty amazing experience for all of us.
Since that time, Krisstina has become part of our family. She is like our adopted daughter but also my good friend. She is the big sister Ashley always wanted. It is so cute how much Ashley adores her and wants to be like her. Krisstina is very sweet to Ashley. She does her hair and lets her hang out in her room. Ashley loves shopping with Krisstina. Ty and Sarah absolutely love her too. When she first started living with us, she and Brent would drive to work together since Krisstina didn't have a car. At night when they would come home, the kids starting yelling, "Krisstina!!" instead of "Daddy!!" which made Dad feel a bit neglected but at the same time happy that they loved Krisstina so much.
Now you can understand why Krisstina has her place in Ashley's family tree. She is part of our family now and we all feel blessed to have her with us.

How fun! I think its inherint (sp?) for the oldest girl to wish for a big sister... I feel you Ashley.
